Dearest Church, you are My light in this dark world. There is no one like you who can bring My light, and My love to hurting people. Each of you, members of My body, bring glory and honor to Me each time you follow My leading in My love and in the ways I have gifted you to serve Me. As each of you come close to Me and receive My love, you are better able to share My love with others around you. Come to Me and let Me heal any wounds in your heart so you can receive all of My love, and then give My love to others.
Each one of you is to be a bright light in this dark world. If you walk closely with Me and receive My love everyday, you will be filled to overflowing. Then the love you have in your heart will spill over as you love others for My glory. Then all day, everyday, you will be that light. You are set apart for My will and My purposes, so you can give hope to a hurting people who need to know Me.
My children, when you serve in the Church or serve others outside of the Church, it should be done within My will and as I lead. In this way, your work brings glory and honor to Me. The relationship I desire for you to share with Me is that of the love My Father and I share. This love when it has become complete in your heart can be shared with the world. This is an unconditional love. Just as I love all people, you are then able to love all people, pray for them, and serve them as I have gifted you to.
All of My children are able to love as I love them, unless they carry around wounds and unforgiveness in their hearts. Come and give Me all of the pain from your whole life. I will help you, one step at a time, to work through the pain so that you will be able to forgive others who have hurt you. Then your heart will be free to receive My love and shine brightly for all to see. This is My will for My Church.
“For this is what the Lord has commanded us: “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:47
“We love because He first loved us.” 1John 4:19
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 4:32 & 5: 1-2
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Psalm 147:3
“For God, who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness,’ made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” 2Corinthians 4:6
“There is no one like you.” I hope this statement reminds you that you have been set apart to be a light unto this world for My glory. You are to live in this world, but not be of this world. You are to be My light to all people who would otherwise not see the light of life. You are unable to do this unless you come close each day and are filled with My great love for you. Once you are filled and overflowing, it will pour out for others to see and desire. Let me come with you into every dark and hurting place in your heart so My light can shine in the darkness. Then I may heal your heart so you are free to forgive others. I am waiting for you to come and seek Me.
We will begin reading Psalm 46-50 for two weeks.
