“Rest and Follow”

Dear Ones in Christ,

  There are so many things each day that can cause you stress, fear, or anger. I, your Jesus, understand what you are going through and I long to lift you up above your circumstances so you will be free to be a blessing to others even when your life may be difficult. Draw near to Me each day and receive My love and guidance for your life. Call to Me and I will answer.

  My Dear Ones, It is My desire that you draw near to Me so that I may lead you in many ways for the glory of God. As I lead you through your day to day life you will find rest for your soul even on those difficult days. I have so much to share with the world through My children who rest in Me and follow My leading. Will you draw near to Me each day as you read My Word, rest in My peace and follow Me?

  My Children who chose to follow Me have abandoned their desires to live for the world so that they may live for My purposes in this world. They have seen the difference first hand in their lives when they go their own way compared to when they rest in My love and follow where I lead them. My rest is important because I know better than you do when you need to step away from the busyness in your life. I will lead you to rest at times because it is what you need so you can better serve others through Me. When My children decide to follow Me whole-heartedly, they will have a greater impact on others for My glory and for the Kingdom of God because they are doing My perfect will. If you desire to follow Me, then seek Me with all your heart and you will learn about the ways I desire to lead you to serve in the world.

  “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for Me will find it.’” Matthew 16:24-25

  “Whoever serves Me must follow Me; and where I am, My servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves Me.” John 12:26

  “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28

  My Dear Children seek Me each day and follow Me. Let Me lead you into a life lived through Me that will bless you and others you may impact because you are following Me.
